Slow Cooker Sweet & Spicy Asian Pork Shoulder

Ingredients:

  • For the Pork:

    • 3-4 lbs pork shoulder (boneless or bone-in)
    • 1 cup soy sauce
    • ½ cup hoisin sauce
    • ¼ cup honey
    • 2 tbsp rice vinegar
    • 2 tbsp sriracha (adjust for spice level)
    • 4 garlic cloves, minced
    • 1 tbsp fresh ginger, grated
    • 2 tbsp sesame oil
    • 1 tsp five-spice powder
    • 1 small onion, sliced
    • 1 cup chicken broth or water
  • For Garnish:

    • Sesame seeds
    • Chopped green onions
    • Fresh cilantro

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the Pork:

    • In a small bowl, whisk together the soy sauce, hoisin sauce, honey, rice vinegar, sriracha, garlic, ginger, sesame oil, and five-spice powder.
  2. Assemble in Slow Cooker:
